| The Garnet stones have been used since the bronze age. The name “garnet” is derived from the latin language for the word “pomengranate,” a fruit which has similar properties to the gemstone. Featured on the strands of garnet is a vintage buckle and clasp adorned with rhinestones. Rhinestones were originally rock crystals collected from the river Rhine in Germany.
